Tip of the iceberg IMO, corp America is in the process of engineering and or protocolling out stupidity in the workplace. Gotta ways to go, but in the meantime, those of us with some common sense suffer. On the bright side, TRR has gone down. Any contractor Pre-approved can name their price if they comply. We routinely pay close to triple normal price on construction projects (my own opinion)...

Steve, is this right off 395?

Drove through the area today (didn't realize how far it was) and saw what looked like this project.

Yep, on the East side of the highway. Pretty hard to miss it

I don't know what time you went by, but there should have been a plumber & some equipment working there today.

Ah. They were probably long gone by then.

I'll be back up there Monday morning, stop by if you'd like.

We will likely be out early but I'll keep an eye peeled! Assuming I'm not busy looking down my coffee cup at the time.

Saw the shipping containers piled around the site, when we passed by last week. I think I counted 7. Didn't look much like a house yet.

The steel guys have a little hacking to do before the containers get set on the foundations.

Are you continuing on this project into this next phase, Steve?

I'll be around off and on until it's done. I've still got to block out for the crawl space and cap the columns, and that will be it for the masonry stuff.

The best thing I can do while the steel is going up is stay out of the way

Hadn't been up for a while, probably going to go up toward the end of next week. These pics were sent to me this morning.

All of the containers are set on the house foundation.

Looks like the hills got a pretty good dusting of snow.
