Exclamation Accel Distributor Help Please!

Hey guys hows it going.
i have been looking online everywhere that i can think of and i cant figure out my issue that i have going on.

* problem *

I have a Accell Ditributor that i pulled out of a buddies garage that was in his 351M and now have it in my truck. Its the onlything that is preventing me to fire up my truck after spending the last several months working on it. so to clear things up i have a 2 wire connectings on my distributor itself and i have the old wiring harness that has 3 wires that went to the old distributor. Now i cant firgure out what i need to cut and make work to the new distributor for it to run.. i am really hoping you guys can help me out here.

Is everything self-contained in the Accel distributor (like an HEI setup)? Or, does the Accel distrbutor require a separate ignition module and coil? What are the wires coming from the aftermarket distributor for? You need to do some research on what you're working with and bring that information to this thread. The 3 wires leading to the factory Ford distributor are a ground, and trigger inputs to the module.

That's not what I'm asking. I'm not asking what's already in your truck. I'm asking what's inside the distributor. There are dozens upon dozens of aftermarket distributors available for early-model vehicles; you can't expect people to automatically know what you're talking about. Some have the coil and module built in; some only have the trigger module. There are different flavors of trigger modules.

Again...please research this distributor and determine what you're working with, what components are a part of it, and what the wires coming out of it are for. That means looking up the model information on Accel's website. Once you have that information we can tell you how to wire a given accessory into your truck.

Okay, so are you saying there is a separate distributor and separate ignition module, and the question is how to wire both up? These are separate pieces? Do they go together? What are you working with?

Come on dude. This is my third response to this thread and it's still not clear to me what you're working with.

Okay here. The Distributor has 2 connections on it that are lable 'B" and "C" or "G". cant really tell. I have 3 wires that come from the Igition module on the firewall of the truck. leading to the distributor, their colors are Yellow, Black with blue chaser, Black with Green chaser. I do not know which one of these 3 wire that i have mentioned i do not need to hook up to the 2 terminals on the distributor.

Just guessing here but I think you need an adapter that makes the Accel dist plug right into the stock harness. If your using a MSD box you can find wiring diagrams online.

Not using aftermarket box.. the only thing that is aftermarket is the distributor ... my buddy had it on his and had it wired in to the system the same way I'm going to wire it in. I would ask him but he no longer has the truck or how to wire it up
