If you look close, he changed his suspension setup completely from the normal leaf springs and 1 ton axles to a much lower truck on monoleaf/coilover/ladder bars and spring sliders. He asked Critter and me a bunch of questions after he saw how we run. I'm actually moving my front axle forward just like he did and used pics from him to rebuild my radius arms.

Well it's good to see everyone helping each other out.

Why are you moving it forward though? Better travel?

It's basically like setting the motor back. It changes the way the truck launches as it moves the center of gravity back some. The more weight you can get off the nose, the faster you can transfer weight to the rear, then things start moving really fast

Oh yeah, DUH ME.


You can see that in LamHamBorginis or was that the Ferraris..with the engine in the rear.

And another mod to move weight to the rear wheels was the gassers of the 50's and 60's with the big truck front axles. Same way to do it in a front engined street car

Is Myron the guy who owns that hillbilly rockstar?

yeah myron is on here and a few other boards as username hillbilly rockstar. he pops in every once in a while to show off some new mods or post some vids and then poof! he's gone again. love that truck.

Changed my thread title so I can be cool

Also, got new FRPP HVOP bolted up and primed.. showed 50PSI with battery drill trying to turn it. Hopefully this fixes my problems!
