I have a 1996 F-150XLT. I am having trouble with the transmission shifting. It will not shift under acceleration. Once you let off the accelerator the transmission hard shifts into the next gear. The fluid level is fine and doesn't smell burned. Got any ideas?
I had a similar issue after I had my truck smogged. it ended up being that they did not put the SPOUT connector back. It is a long shot but give it a try. Mine only did it at WOT.
Duh, guess it can't be the SPOUT connector then. There are several threads about this on here and other Ford truck forums. Do a Google search to find them. I am sure others will be along soon to offer more advice.
