I know this has been covered in many different ways here, and I have done gauges in the past. But this one Ill be doing to my truck next week has got me worried. Like Ive said I have installed them before, but on cars I knew. Dont know much on the diesel world yet, and almost all my setups have been Autometer. Basically if I recall right, power, ground, dimmer, and sensor wires on the rear of the gauges.
2000 F250 4x4 Lariat (doubt it matters)
Clays quad pillar 4 Isspro gauge set up.
Now with what said above about what Ive done, today in the mail I recieve a box from Clay with a dimmer setup for the gauges. 8 wires or so, and instructions that might as well be written in some other language. When it comes to instructions Im a little kid. If it doesnt have pictures, I have no clue what it says. So theres where Im getting worried.
Any advice would be appreciated on this subject. If you have a write-up on how to do it, where to tap in would be great. Hell if you have a coloring book full of pictures on how to do this, im all over it.
I maybe over thinking it due to never seeing a setup like the dimmer, but I would rather be ready with information, then stuck in the middle with none.
Thanks for any help.
