4 pod A-pillar or 3 pod A-pillar gauge setup?
I am trying to decide what gauge pillar to go with on my 2006 ps, a 3 pod or a 4 pod pillar? i would like to get some opinions from some fte members out there that have done the a-pillar gauge mod. I know there are alot of people out there that have done the 4 pod gauge setup, just wanted to know if you liked it or do you wish you would have went with a 3 pod setup instead of the 4 that you have now? The ones out there that have the 3 pod setup, do u ever wish you would have went with the 4 pod setup rather than the 3 that you have now?Which one looks better the 3 or 4? if there is anyone out there that has any pictures of there 4 pod a-pillar gauge setup, could you post them in your gallery or email me a pic? i have seen some 3 pod install but have not seen any 4 pod installs, but if i am going to do this i was thinking i rather have 4 instead of 3, just dont want it to look bad. I will be using autometer ultralite2 series gauges. any comments or pictures on this subject is greatly appreciated.

I went with the 3 pod (Boost, Trans Temp and EGT).

I have the cobalts, so I will post a pic asap...they look amazing. Did you find it a pain to shove the little bracket in to get the gauge mounted in? I threw away the little thumb turners and got some lock nuts so I could turn it with a ratcheting wrench instead of trying to fight where my fingers couldn't get to.

I use the X-Monitor digital gauge package. It monitors three items, pyro, boost, and tranny and has an alarm function and also remembers the max value for each.
It is compact an allows you to keep the Pillar grab handle.
You can also buy the optional CES module that integrates with the X-Monitor and provides a turbo timer that shuts the engine down at a user configured pyro temp or after so many minutes.
It's worth considering.
