Adding Power Mirrors??

I have a 1995 F-150 XLT,and it doesn't have Power Mirrors. And I'd like to add them, but I'm not sure what all I'd need to do it,and how to do it.I know I'd need the new Switch piece, and the Replacement Power Mirrors. But not sure what else..I did a Search but couldn't really find anything..So any Help will be Greatly Appreciated...

You'll need the correct door panels also.

You need the interior panels. Manual window door panels are different than power window panels.

The motors are riveted into the door sheetmetal itself; So you'll need so drill a few holes to mount the motors on.

Does a truck without power mirrors have the proper wiring inside the door to connect to the mirrors and switches?

I'm not sure if later ones did, but my 1992 does not have the wiring for them.

I am unsure of exactly what you would need. For this very reason, I haven't bother to try and put power mirrors in my truck. I would take off your door panel and look for the white plug in this picture. It shouldn't have anything plugged into it. If it isn't there, you may need a whole new door harness....

Well after some quick digging, it looks like you will need the mirrors, the new switch panel for the driver side, the switch and the entire door harness's for both sides. Once you have those, it should be plug-n-play.

Where would you get the wiring Harness? I know probably a Junk Yard would be a a good spot to find them, but the problem with that is there's no Junk Yards near me.Is there any Junk Yards that do Online Sales? Or would a new finding a new one be better??

You could try car-part.com, but im not sure you can search that part up. You wont find the harness new. Your best bet is a junk yard...

The drivers door harness does NOT have a plug separating it from the truck harness. The power window/mirror harness is ONE PIECE from the drivers door to the passenger side of the cab. there is a plug in piece for the passenger door.

That harness for the cab is separate from the dashboard harness, BUT you need to remove the dash to get it out. It is JUST below the windshield
