I recently bought an F150 with the Mazda M5R2 behind a 4.9l. When I bought it, the kid that sold it to me said it had a brand new clutch which was evident from the early release on it. Also it had a very sloppy shifter that was hard to get in gear, (something I thought would be an easy fix with a shifter repair kit which I just installed.) Now that it's in and I just changed the fluid, I can't get it in gear while it's running, and it won't start if it's in gear. The starter just bogs down from whatever resistance is being caused from the transmission. Where do I begin?
