need adivce...updated/resolved!

So.....Yesterday, driving my ol' reliable CC I stopped and ran in the gas station, left the truck running. I come out to hear it noticeably running odd(missing), hop in to drive home, only a few blocks away realize it has very little to almost no power. Get it home, parked, I start to tinker a little. It revs through all the way to limiter smooth no real hesitation I could hear the turbo spooling a little. when I rev it up and instantly let off the pedal it stumbles pretty hard when the revs come down. I tried to rip it up the street again and floored it has an amazing lack of go! So today I took a closer look at my vc gaskets and I notice a pretty good amount of oil in the 2 connection on the passenger side and a little in the front of the drivers side. I am leaning towards the oil in those connection being to blame for my symptoms. So here I am asking you all for either another thought of what could be wrong or if I am on the right track with my vc gaskets.. also from what i could see there were no burnt pins just very oily

sorry for the long post..

And I am doing my best to get to the areas I need to inspect to look for problems but I'm still blessed with being stuck on crutches after my recent surgery so I apologize I don't have a ton more info at this time. But I will do all I can to get more info if anybody needs something to help!
Thanks for your time guys

You're sure it's oil, not fuel?

Did you try cleaning them up, reconnecting and seeing if it makes a difference?

99% sure its oil. But I'll take a closer look and try to clean them up and post the results!
Thanks
just curious, how could it be fuel?

Fuel leak (lines, pump, bowl, etc) in the valley, sloshing or squirting on the connectors.

update

ok so it was oil in the connectors! i cleaned them up and inspected around the valley i have no signs of fuel or oil leaks that i can see! Also i remembered i had unplug the map sensor as a test in the past so i was ignoring the check engine light, so i hooked it back up as well. no change what so ever. in fact i put my chip into stock mode and it will barely rev to 2k and it sounds awful. also have a check engine light that i now know not to be tied to the map sensor being unplugged.. now i am switching gears on thinking what could be wrong here.. i have had evidence pointing toward injector o-rings for a while. bluish smoke on start up and small oil use. but will that cause a check engine light and no power or could this be oil related...
i know i know get the codes.. but i can't help but think about the problem till i do, so here i am posting again for any input.. this truck has been absolutely trouble free for me for about 40k so i can't be to upset with her! as far as i am aware injectors,o-rings and hpop are all stock.. 174k miles on her

Lots of times if injector orings are bad, you'll see some little pieces in the fuel bowl. Notice anything there?

I believe a code could be set from the orings if your pressure isn't building enough.

ok, a little update/more troubles here.. i am trying to use my aeroforce scanguage to find out why i have the check engine light and it simply is not working, this is the first time i have tried to hook it up or use it. it tells me the annunciator (spelling?) is not hooked up when i turn the key on, it then shuts itself down, but i can hold both buttons and it will take me to the menu as it should and when i scroll to ''get dtc" i select that option and it tells me that it is ''unable to complete'' also another weird thing is i have no check engine light on when the truck is not running(key in the on position) i tried to get it to scan both ways running and not running and i get the same response..."unable to complete" hopefully i am just being dumb here and its something simple you guys could help me with, as i really can't stand to see me my tuck just sitting there knowing it cant be used....

What year truck?

The CE light doesn't stay on when you leave the key in RUN with the engine off, like some vehicles. The "bulb check" is astonishingly quick; when you turn the key to RUN it blinks for, like, 1/20th of a second. I once got a super-slow-motion video of it with my camera, and it was still hard to catch.

Do you have the scangauge set up for your truck? I don't remember how to do it, and don't have a link to instructions, nor near the ones I have. If you pm Hussler (Jim), he's really good with the scangauge and could probably help you out.

Maybe someone else will pop in too, bump up anyway.

When you hold both buttons down on the scan gauge, and it brings up the menu, select "set up". Then select "platform 2". From there you can scroll through and select what functions you wan to monitor. When that is complete, select "exit" and it will take you back to the menu. Scroll throught to "get dtc" and select it. Should give you the codes. If you disconnect the batts at any time, you will probably have to repeat the set up process. Just remember to always make sure you're in platform 2.
