05 5.4 no start
I have 05 F150 xlt 5.4. problem started with fuel /alt guage. drove truck into my garage to check for a pal of mine. Went to start to check things over and no start. checked fuses, inertia swith, replaced fpdm, checked wires on frame under drivers side, got a new pump, took out old pump and it seems ok. Any ideas. No codes.

Have you tried spraying some starter fluid into air cleaner while cranking?

If it will run with starting fluid ^^^ , that shows a fuel issue . Not enough pressure , bad fuel , ect . I just towed a 95 F150 yesterday . It had a 1/2 tank of H2o ! Guy says he drove it home and had a no start the next morning after buying fuel ! I find that hard to believe , but , he is a regular customer .??? Maybe the punks next door put water in his tank ?

Hey guys, sorry but been out of town. Yes it starts with starting fluid. I dropped the tank, replaced pump and still no fuel. Also replaced fpdm , no difference. Had truck for two weeks at home. Stumped, help.

Is the security system kick in the red light on the dash will blink rapidly when you try to turn it over i just went thru the same problems a week ago it ended up being the fuse block assembly the ford tech called it a smart module i called it 700 bucks
