Hey guys new here to this site. Have a 1974 F-350 dump and yes I'm making it a 4x4, but I'm confused at what Dana I can use. It's a dump that's going to work and I want it to look good also. Have Dana 60 in rear and a NP435 trans. I found yeterday a transfer case but need to know what to use up front.

I'll try to find one. I was suffing the web and came across a way to convert 5 lugs to 8 lugs with the help of some chevy parts, but page was expired and I can't find it anymore. It was on another 4x4 forum.
thanks
I can't help you with that. I'd break out in a rash even thinking about using cheby parts on my truck.
But seriously you've got a 1 ton dump truck! You really want to throw a 1/2 ton axle under the front of it?? Yes D60's are expensive, but so is constantly replacing parts that break on a D44 axle being used in a 1 ton dump truck.
