5.8 low end build
hi guys. I was just wondering what are some mods for a low end grunt build that will help power every were, but again give it a lot of torque. I have 4.10 gears and rolling on 285/76/16. with a true dual exhaust and stock motor. this is not a pipe dream I need as much information as any one can give so I can plan and build thanks!

Low end power can be helped by installing a set of true Long Tube headers along with your dual exhaust. The other would be a bit more involved but changing the cam would also help. Since your block is roller cam ready you can install a roller cam. If that's a bit much to do then get a set of 1.7 ratio roller rockers. You only have to remove the valve/rocker covers to swap them out.
As for what cam, just do a search of the forum and you will fine many good suggestions for what brand and/or lift/duration of cam.
