Having a problem trying to identify the trim color on my 2001 excursion limited dashboard. Per the sticker, the exterior color is FU (green) and the interior trim is LH. The problem is with the two tone dash. the cup holder, which im trying to replace is the darker graphite color. When i look on line, there a three colors that are close. wondering if someone has the same scheme and can help give me an exact match. The beige color is the wrong one that was sent to me. the correct color is the darker color.

 

I am not aware of them making that darker color. In order that we could color match our custom 650 dashes we have had that color made for us. If you would like send us an email and we can see about getting you a can to match what you need.

 

the light color beige is called medium parchment, and the darker beige is called medium dark parchment.

For the 2000 to 2001 MY you had a choice of either Medium Parchment or Medium Graphite. You have Medium Parchment as I do...

The cupholder you have is from a 2005 Limited Excursion or a 2005-2007 Superduty.

For the Excursion on the Limited trim, 2005 was the only MY for the newer, lighter interior color on the Excursion. 2005-2007 Lariat and King Ranch superduties got it as part of the package.

So I'm down to either medium dark parchment or medium parchment! I took off another piece of the dash (the little garbage bag holder) and put it next to my computer screen. It does not seem to match the color examples listed on another automotive paint website. Hopefully it is my eyes failing me and the previous owner didn't slap in another dash or repaint it. I may have to take the piece into the dealership and have them give me a definitive answer. I'm already going to have to ship back the replacement cup holder to the eBay seller.

 

The previous owner did nothing of the sort, that is the original Medium Parchment interior that came with your truck when it was manufactured.

The cupholder you have is Medium Pebble For the 2005 Excursion or Tan for the 2005-2007 Superduty.

The best thing to do would be to return the cupholder back to eBay seller and request Medium Parchment.

Medium parchment is the color for the Leather seats, not the dash as specified above.
