5 speed question

5 speed question
My 64 f100 has a 85 gt 302 with a c6. I would love to have a 5 speed trans but didn't know what I could pull one out of. Are the bell housing still interchangeable? I know I could find 90s 5 speed out of a f150 but didn't know if that would work. Or a zf 6 speed in the 250s or 350s? Just throwing ideas out their. Any response would be helpful. Thanks

Hunter, To go to a manual, you gotta add clutch and a lot of other stuff. Have you thought of swapping to an AOD? That will give you OD and retain what it currently there.

Well right now the body is off so now would be the time to do it if ever. But this is only the option if I find a good one at the junk yard. I've done a little research so I'm looking for a m5od or a zf 5 96 or before if I'm correct? I believe the zf 5 will work as long as it comes off of a small block. The m5od is probably the better choice but the zf is stronger. Correct me if I'm wrong on any of this. Thanks guys.
