I posted this on Classic broncos also but not sure if most of you are on that sight to. Ok I have a 75 bronco with an 89 5.0 in it. the problem im having is a bad cold start issue. Fire it up first thing in the morning and it dies, fire it up again and it runs ok, step on the gas and it spits and sputters, and back fires every now and then. once it warms up all is fine and dandy. I dont have any codes that i shouldn't have, have not found any vacumn leaks, timing is good and I have changed each sensor out one at a time. I have no clue what this is. I have the RMJ harness so the EGR is out of the picture. Not sure where else to look are even begin. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Although the colors and connectors will be different, here is a site that has helped me figure out a wiring issue on my '91, and I will be using it to help me through a '90 5.0 into '77 Maverick project. Fuel Injection Technical Library
ECT is engine coolant temp sensor ACT is Air charge temperature sensor. There may or may not be a code stored for this, if there is you'd be $$ and time ahead to check for codes before swapping in sensors.
