1990 F-150 5.0 problem

I have a problem with cold starting of my truck,If it sits over night and in the morning I try to start it it runs like it`s on three cylinds and the throtle has no response this goes on till the truck warms up and the problem goes away and it run fine,I can shut it off and start it again with no problem ,It shows no cel light so i don`t no whats wrong here?

It could be the engine coolant temperature sensor faulty.
You could try pulling the error codes and see it it shows up. Go to fordfuelinjection.com and click on OBD1 Self Test for instructions.
There may be codes stored even if the light is not on.

I will go along with ECT sensor but most of the time you will not get a code when it is bad unless it is shorted or open.

Just to the passenger side of the thermostat housing in one of the heater hose runs if I remember correctly. The driver's side is the sender for the operator's dash guage.
