Jimmy,
I'm glad you're still laughing.
Isn't it amazing how much floor transmission fluid can cover (and how quickly). Yea, I've experienced the same thing in the past....ooops
Years ago when I had long hair and was fighting the re-install of a 4spd manual I managed to get my hair completely soaked in 90w....yuck. It took forever to get cleaned up!
Keep after it, you'll whoop its hiney in the long run. We're all pulling for you
Bobby
I removed the obsolete rubber and keeper on the tailshaft, and what do ya know. The problem with the yoke is solved. I reassembled drivetrain 100%, including the new xmember piece. So all that is left is to reconect shift, and kick down assemblies, then add ATF again lol and start it up. The rest is out of my hands at this point, either the tranny will work and last as long as I have the truck, or Im in an awfull lot of trouble with My wife LOL. Weve been married for 22 years , so we will be ok. (I did take care of the loose bolts in the pics for those of you with super vision ,LOL.) Thanks every body for helping me thru this one.
