Drive line vibration
I just put lowered spring hangers (front of spring) on my 77 F-100. Now at 60mph or more if I let off the gas and let the engine "float" I get a serious buzzing vibration. I looks as if my pinon phase angle is "zero". Would the lack of offset cause this kind of problem? I'm trying to be sure of the problem before going the rear end shims.

Bear, if you have a non-cardan drive shaft (a simple u-joint at both ends), the angles should be the same at the diff and transmission. If you have a cardan joint at the trans/x-case end, then the angle at the diff should be 0*.
If you have a slip-yoke, make sure the u-joints are in-phase; the end caps of the u-joints must be exactly aligned with each other, when looking at the shaft from the side.
