Exhaust question
OK just bought a 93 F 150 on Thursday. Here is my issue and question. The exhaust has rusted through the pipe at the front of the glass pack to where they are separate. What is the cheapest exhaust I can do. Can I just weld up a muffler with a dump pipe on it! I'm in Texas so not real familiar with exhaust laws.

What you can do is cut off a certain something, Might be illegal in your area, but in MI there arent any emission laws, And you can run straight duals out of your downpipes. and call it good. and dump it out the side where ever you feel like.

When I re did my ehaust I got a high flow cat (almost like not having one
) and a parts store muffler. It cost around 150 all said and done. It could have been cheaper, but I messed a few things up and had to pay for stuff to fix it. She roars now! Very nice purr when idling and a nice bark when you stomp it
