I bought my buddy's old 98 f-150 and have been going over the truck performing basic maintenance to it. luckily right before I bought the truck he put a K&N cold air intake on the truck. Now I want to change the plugs and wires since he has no idea when he had them changed. The truck runs fine it don't miss a beat but I think the plugs and wires have at least 50K on them. I was looking at the new E3 plugs since I can get a set from summit for $32.
Does anyone have any recommendations on plugs and wires or should I stick with motorcraft. I would like to try and upgrade if it will help my fuel economy at all I currently am getting 11.2 mpg which is killing me.
