I bought the Haynes manual as suggested by so many, in order to test my ABS system. The problem is that the manual says jumper pins E and B on the ABS test harness but the harness is not wired and the diagram in the manual only lists numbers and wire colors as far as I can see.
Also is it asking me to use the red ABS diagnostic test harness located in the corner by the fire wall? Or am I misunderstanding where its telling me to find it?
Any help is appreciated as my brakes have gone out twice now within 2 weeks for a split second until my ABS light comes back on.
That's an omission in the Haynes, unfortunately carried over from the original Ford/Helm documentation. My photo site is finally back up, so look at this picture that I added the pin letters to. They're the same as the EEC TEST connector, and both connectors are near the rear of the L inner fender under the hood hinge.
