Sorry, don't know what its called, but when mine did that it ended up being a screen in the line..Tell a AC man and he will know what I am talking about, or someone here will chime in
I'll look into that. Clutch engages when AC is turned on. It is only intermittent...just drove it and had cold at idle. Thanks. Anyone else have an idea?
Did SpringerPop's air gap adjustment and so far so good. The inside of the clutch plate sure looked worn though. Is that a factor? The "shim" is one small washer...looks like. I had a .039 gap and got it down to about .020 with a lot of filing on that little washer. Interesting fix. Hopefully that will do the trick.
