That stuff you have between the IMG tags takes me to a login page asking for credentials, that's not gonna work. Need the URL to the IMAGE file itself, not to a Web page displaying it.
six bolts would be 351w or 302, or FE if it was swapped but ive really never heard of that.
FE have been swapped into this generation of trucks. It's not worth it, as the 351M and 400's were designed to replace the 352's, 360's and 390's.
But yes, 6 bolts on a V8 is a 351 Windsor or a 302.
To tell if it's either a 351 or a 302, look at the distance between the water pump boss and the cylinder head. If the deck of the block goes about 1'' further from the water pump boss, then the head, it's a 351W. If the water pump boss is right up next to the cylinder head, it's a 302.
Here's two more pics guys. I really need help finding what this engine is. I wanna start working on it but i don't have a clue what engine to ask for parts for. Sorry about the quality there phone pics

You need to use the 'share' button above the picture in Flickr, then select 'BBCode' option, then copy & paste that string into your post.
No need to use the advanced window.
The tiny thumbnails I'm seeing are not clear enough to tell how much the block stands above the water pump.
Look just to the inside of the power steering reservoir neck.
If the engine is original to the truck, you should be able to use the VIN or the Emissions label on the radiator support to ID your engine.
I agree with Jim, the pictures are way too small to tell anything. It is a Windsor style engine, which covers 221, 260, 289, 302 and 351W. The 351 will be taller as was mentioned earlier, it also has two ribs behind the water pump. The 302 and smaller engines lack these and the heads come down almost to the water pump.
Looks like an FE actually, can't really tell but it seems like the manifold is under the edge of the head/valve cover.
And to whoever said FEs are inferior to 351/302s...
You make think they are inferior, yes they are normally more expensive to build but I would take an FE and anysize over a 351/302 in struck stock for stock. My grandpa lives and breaths FEs so that's why I feel they are better for the purpose than a typical SBF. Not trying to salutary an argument as it is all 90% opinion
FEs haven't been made since 76, when did you build it? And I was truly only looking at the manifold and nothing else but the whole iPhone 3 safari looking at an already crappy photo I basically only see colors lol
