Banks Powerpack kit for 95 F350 7.5L
I'm looking at replacing the exhaust system on this truck and I've been looking at a lot of different combos. I ran across the Banks Powerpack system and seen that it comes with a lot and Banks is claiming some pretty good increases from that set up. I'm not looking to build a drag truck or a mud truck. This truck will be used to pull my 5th wheel camper and it has a GVWR of 12000lbs with all tanks full (fresh, grey, black, galley, and propane). So I'm looking to increase the torque on the motor and whatever HP comes with doing that is a plus.
Has anyone use this set up? If so what are your opinions on pros and cons? Where did purchase the system from?
What other upgrades/add ons have you guys done to help your truck increase torque for towing heavy loads?
Thanks for any and all help folks
Greg

I had their complete exhaust and intake setup on my 95 F350 5spd, 355 gears.... It was awesome.
I kept the stock cat because it looked very clean and a light went through the core nicely.
Anyway, it fit great, you'll need swaybar brackets that are not in the kit.
The power gain is extremely noticeable. The sound is very nice, but really not much louder than any other higher hp stock trucks nowadays.
You can get a high flow diesel cat and put in there for even less restriction. That's what I'd do if it were me again. If you don't need a cat for emissions, just leave it out. Only put one in if you think its too loud.
