Ready to buy a Banks Exhaust (But need help, Please :-)
As the Subject says, im ready to get the banks exhaust system. My dilema is. Should I mix and match or go all the way with Banks.
My truck:
2001 F-250 xlt 4x4 long bed
v-10 auto trans 3.73 gears
exhaust #1 Banks Stinger with Power pack (side exit tail pipe) basically the whole banks enchalada or should I go with exhaust #2 just the banks torque tubes(Headers w/ crossover) and use a Gibson cat back exhaust(daul out the back)
My concerns are this:
* Does the v10 sound funny with the gibson dauls on it, (gibson owners please reply)
* I really like the look of the duals but are they the right way to go????
* Will the gibson cat back produce less horsepower than the banks cat back (powerpack)banks owners please reply)
Please help me decide the best way to go,
all comments welcome
Thanks
Billy

I would go the total Banks package. They have a very good engineering dept. and have built what they have to work best as a package.
I recently (2 weeks ago) had the Stinger Kit put on my PSD. The kit includes turbo to tail exhaust, gages, 'Ottomind' & 'Transcommand'. I went to Banks in Azusa for install and was extremely impressed w/ professional work and site. So far my millage has increased and power enough for me

I am gonna be going with the Banks kit. Thanks for the recomendation. The whole enchalata. but im not going to get the air cleaner thing, save 105 bucks and instead will get a K&N filter kit thing. averaging 11.7 miles per gallon. (figured out with an excel spread sheat i created, so its pretty acurate) hoping to increase mileage.

I installed a set of Torque Tubes on my '95 460, love 'em to death! The increase in low end torque makes this upgrade a must if you do any towing. The mpg also increased because the engine is no longer having to work as hard to 'push' the exhaust gasses out.
The reason I didn't do their cat back system is because I already had 3" pipe with a flow master 3 chamber.
I also installed the transcommand and I wold do it all over again!
Just my $.02
