gasser to idi
hey guys looking for some info on the swapping from a gasser to idi. On the gasser cross member there is a big hole on the driver side what do have to do with that. do I have to weld a piece of metal in there

You will need all the wiring for the engine, cab and dash, as well as a diesel specific transmission (a gas tranny will not bolt up to a diesel).
Fuel tanks and fuel system, and diesel front springs for suspension.
That big hole I think is there in all trucks, it's the oil filter hole for the gas V8's.
You'll need the plate that bolts over it from on the IDI engine.
Like so,
As you can, you will need the motor mount it self, and that plate hanging from the mount seen in this picture.
What kind of truck are looking to drop this in? What's in there now? A little more info from your end will help us, help you.

Ok the truck is 92 f250 with a 351 I'm put a dana 60 in it with 97 psd springs I'm get the plates that bolt to the frame and trying to get a diesel dash it longer term project so I plan on build the motor first
