I need help

Well my truck left me stranded on the side of the road. It's an 04 1/2 6.0. First thing is I went to go fill it up with fuel and to the store. I got about 15 min down the road and made a left. It shifted into third and truck completely shut down. So I drifted to the side of the road. Tried starting it and nothing, won't even crank. However I did notice the glow plug light stayed on for an unusual amount of time. I tried jumping the starter, motor cranks but fuel wasn't getting to it to get it to run. Checked my fuel gauge I got 70 psi of fuel. Then I hooked up my simple actron scanner. The scanner could not detect a computer so I got my buddy to bring a spare one he had when I sold his motor. Swapped them out and still nothing. Makes me believe it's something electrical? But I could be wrong.

I'm at a complete loss. Can anybody help me?

Open top fuel filter and have buddy put key on for a short time, does it fill up?
Battery voltage above 12?
Really need codes, but from a full reader. Might be worth to tow to Ford or have scanner for a bit?

I haven't checked the voltage on the ficm since it was replaced a couple months ago. But even then if it was bad it would still sit there and try to crank same way with the fuel bowl and batteries. I would get some kind of cranking out of the motor.

Have you checked the fuses in the fuse box located in the engine compartment on the drivers side? And the fuses in the cab?
