A few weeks ago I installed a double din Kenwood in the Ex that is Bluetooth capable. Ive been using my Android tablet to stream my music library to the unit, so I decided to install a mount. I ordered this one on amazon and it came today.
My intent was to use a seat bolt, but the neck on the mount was to short. So I decided to drill a hole in the cup holder for the center console, and mount it there. It turned out pretty good, and sits at the perfect height. Next step is to mount a usb charging plug into the side of the console.
Innovative but it looks springy, you can't drive and tap on it, and why not just stop and put it in your lap?
I use it a lot for work too. I own a small business and I can access all of my customers accounts for service and invoicing. Its nice not having to fumble around for it. Its actually very solid. I was kind of expecting a lot of movement and there isn't any.
Im also running Torque on the tablet. So its nice to have all of the guages right there.
