take your time to rest and recover from your surgery. The truck will be there when you are healed.
I know from experience, I couldn't bring myself to wait to heal and messed my surgery up.

Thanks so much for the advice. It's been hard. i'm not a sit-a-round kind of guy, and as a teacher I've really been miserable going from very involved at school to nothing for the last three months. Was back in the ER last week. Keep building up fluid in my back and other joints. They know they're related, just can't figure out how. The way they're treating me now seems to be working, so I'm hoping to be back at work next monday. My sway bars are here and all I can do is stare at them. Misery!
