3AF BZ, I just found that on the corner of the second carb.
1.12 cfm model, does that ID bring up anything?
I also just noticed the little brass tubes that sit in the middle of the butterfly's on both carbs are different sizes, the pony carb has smaller holes.

Thanks again for your help.
Now my question is, what boosters do i use?
I have two kd boosters for the primary's, and i have one ba booster and b booster for the secondary's. Which secondary booster will work best with the kd primary booster?
I think I'm going to start out with 55 prime jets and 63 sec jets, and go from there.
Alrighty, have the ole 4100 back on the 400 and its running a whole lot better now.
I have it idling at 500 rpm, throttle response seems pretty good, and it seemed like the butterfly issues have been remedied.
The only problem I'm facing now is the secondary's wont shut all the way sometimes, the little plastic rod that attaches to the fast idle screw broke off.
Can i just use a machine screw to take its place?
Anybody have any ideas on how to set the fast idle, choke on these?
I'm having issues figuring that out.
Out of the blue, after a few hundred miles, the secondary side is flooding, spilling fuel out of the vent hole in the air horn. I tried to tap the bowl with a screw driver to free possibly stuck float, to no avail, then lowered the float level. Still it is flooding.
I'm using a psi regulator for the fuel. Gas was oozing past needle/seats before. Tomorrow I'll try to change the needle/seat, and possibly change the old brass float, which I checked and found to not be leaking. Maybe the neoprene applies better sealing power?
I posted the previous message yesterday and was hoping that someone would post, saying: Your problem is.... But I guess that is not going to happen, so I plug along with what I can.
I don't understand why one side would flood when the float level is set low. It has to be an issue with the needle seats, and has to be dirt/particles in the fuel. I'm running two relatively new filters in the line though.
I think I found the problem. When I removed the float and clip and needle, I noticed that when I held the clip, the float would not pivot freely on the rod. I had used an old clip and it was fairly bent up, binding on the sides of the float tang. So I dug through my 4100 parts and found a new(er) clip that allowed the float to pivot freely.
Air dispersion plate On primary booster of 4100 carb
I sent 2 carbs to a carb rebuilder called carbontooters.
He claims to have worked for pony carbs
My carb is C8AF-BG. I did not like the rebuild because if it was rebuilt properly it would not have had a mud wasps nest on the pocket of the underside. The primary booster does not squirt. I remember the carbs that were sent to him had this plate that mounts on top or over the primary boosters which are not there now. I found on eBay a primary booster for a 2100 / 4100 with a code on the bottom of 'DK'. I was wondering if I could use this until further information can be obtained. Or further cleaning on my booster so squirters will work when engine is shut off, will it still work properly without the Air Dispersion Plate to mount over the booster? I did go back in to reclean the carb and found the squirter passage was good until it got to the booster. Help. Bruce Bailey 480 386 3716 Mesa, Az. bruce_13_warren@yahoo.com
