Duraspark help

I changed my 1985 f159 4.9 4x4 over to the duraspark 2 system, blue grommit all was purchased new from rock auto, coil ,module , distributor and used a painless wiring duraspark 2 harness(now painfull) .Installed a new 4 prong solenoid as my older one was three prong. Wiring is correct, checked coil its ok but seems i am getting no spark at all to the plugs, any help would be appreciated i am showing input at the module (redwire ) but yet havent checked the white wire which it needs to be started to check this.In this trouble shooting i did add a new wire from the black wired between the dizzy to ignition module. Just havent tried this yet , charging my battery Thanks TR

Put a testlight or meter on the coil +, and make sure you have voltage there with the key on and during cranking also.

If you have it there, then move the meter lead over to the coil negative. When cranking the engine the testlight should blink or the meter should show a high then low alternating voltage when cranking.
