well everybody has their own magic sauce to get those rivets off I guess. I didn't see that there was clearance for a dremel or a cut-off die grinder. But my vibrator tool did the job quick. I think as long as you're willing to buy another bracket, who cares how you get the rivets off, as long as they come off!
when I was putting the bracket back ON, however, I had to remove the driveshaft to get access to the nuts, in order to torque them down correctly. that was a pain, but the u-joints in the driveshaft were rotten anyhow, so it was worth it.
