rough idle
I have a 99 expedition 5.4 it recently blew a plug on cyl 3 I used a timesert kit put a new plug and coil started it up and let it run for an hour ran smooth idle was fine went to drive it and about 15miles later I was going up a hill and it started to miss really bad and exhaust fumes were horrible now it idles at 1000rpm and is rough when you step on the gas you do smell gas under the hood so i think it might be a bad coil but no cel yet the new coil was a cheap az valuecraft one but theres also a collapsed vacuum line that goes into the side of the intake plenum

You may have answered your own question. Is that the PCV hose? If so, maybe your PCV is stuck and you need a new one. Remove it and see if it rattles when you shake it.

it tee's off the pvc directly into the side of the intake but it was like that when I started it initially when it was running smooth but im gonna replace it anyway hopefully thats it
