Did not get to far into the carb but accerator pump looks new, don't think it has seen any gas. Spring inside vac is chrome and not purple. Might get into it a little more tonight.

The chrome (Holley calls "natural") is one step stronger than a purple one. IThe natural one wil open the secondaries a little slower and not as far compared to a purple one. FYI. In order of strength going from the strongest to the weakest they are Black,Brown, Natural, Purple, Long Yellow, Short Yellow,White.
Yes i have one on my holley 750 ,haven't had an issue with it . another FTE member gave me this tip
use a paper clip on secondary arm to help get adjustment correct . i have mine currently set so i have to floor it to get secondaries to open (gas saver)
check ebay they have them new real cheap !
