I put front disc brakes on my 71 f100, using spindles off of a 79. Replaced the drag link, center link & tie rod with 79 also. This seemed to change the angle of attachment slightly for the pitman arm.
While it does drive good, I'm now ready to replace steering gears,(manual), rag joint, & pitman arm, to completely refresh my steering.
Should I use a 71 pitman? (not having too much luck finding one) Or will a 79 work?
Any advice, & part #s greatly appreciated
