What are you driving Mr. Nix I am in Macon/Warner Robins myself.

 

I am presently driving a 1993 f150, red ,long bed with lightening wheels. Just bought a cabernet 93 shortbed, and today set in a 289! Want to build a red lightening. Need Motor mounts not supports. Need other small Engine parts .I used to drive a 1976 f100 390 with c6,it was awsome! I have Ford cars also, need to trade away some 4.9 engine and parts .I can send pictures.Thanks for the welcome!

 

I have a 73 f100 and I am about to replace the engine with a crate motor and updated 4 speed auto trans.

we are "the riding school" at 3090 Old Thompson Mill Rd....been here 21 years..small farm. we do riding lessons...for mostly little girls...they have the time of their life.
Anyway, i see you put 1966 F100....i did have a 1967 F100 for about 10 years, and worked on it the whole time. It was a very good truck. I painted it, redid the interior, put air conditioning on it.etc..pulled the tranny several times due to the 3-finger pressure plate breaking. it had a huge transmission, the very top was in the cab, 4 speed granny gear, guy told me it was out of a dump truck. So anyway, the 1997 is new to us, so putting about a thousand in it this week, to make functional and reliable. Then will look at the little stuff, like a window issue..etc...Would like some headers, has a small manifold leak that goes away in about 30 seconds of starting.

 

i never had a 460 before. Been reading up on it. a little confusing. I got the EGR out the back of the head, but no air injection on top of the exhaust manifold and no air pump..that I have found yet...LOL.....truck is Ridiculously clean....for a 97

You had a t10 or top loader in it. Good trannys. My 66 has a 72 block in it, and finding parts is a pain, but it starts. Im close to getting it on the road and ready for my move.

been working on the 97...difficult to identify the right parts.
there is no air pump, no air injection on exhaust manifold. it is EFI and manufacture date is 11/97. Glad i took the water pump off, it makes a scraping sound when u turn it. then i reached in and grabbed the power steering pump, shaft goes in and out about 3/16", so shopping for parts, there was about 4 different power steering pumps and hoses...LOL
just had to walk back up to the shop and take more pics.
