Original unit had a pressure leak as evidenced by dye seepage. The first new unit came apart at the tube connection to the coil. Bad luck?
Personally... I think everything is crap these days.... I had a unit show up last week that had 4 of 6 refrigeration circuits with broken piping in transit. And this is R-410A operating at 600 PSI! Can't even ship it without it falling apart. I have spent more on refrigerant in the last 2 years that I did in the 15 previous. There are only a few left that make decent coils IMHO Thank goodness we have a good ref tech who was actually able to fix all of these
We don't need much air conditioning up here so the truck is a non issue for me . I think mine is still good but I will let you know the 1 day in Aug I use it LOL.
