Ok. Im starting the reassembly of the truck..been doin some ignition wiring..hooked up starter..etc. hood is finally back on too!! Now..I put on my new holley 570 cfm street avenger..and realized my choke cable is too short. I have a 68 f100 and it came factory with th manual choke..so id like to keep the **** usable. Anyhoo..I'm having trouble locating through Npd and Lmc any choke cables. Anybody running a sixer with the 4 bbl conversion with manual choke? I have the offy c intake if that helps
Run on down to the local Advance, Autozone, wherever and pick up a Dorman manual choke conversion kit. It comes with a pretty darn long cable, and will have some spare parts you may or may not want to keep.
Will these cables be able to use my stock **** and mounting point?
Might be able to locate at the original mounting point, but most likely will not be able to reuse the stock **** as there will be a new **** attached to the replacement cable.

If you want to maintain the stock appearance, with a little creative engineering, you can splice the new cable to the original cable thereby extending the length.
