Ok so I decide to do some quick fixes tonight that have been on my list. One was steering box. Easy enough once I got a little WD40 to loosen the lock nu. Second was to figure out why I have the EBPV Code popping up. So after finally geting the tube connectors loose I found a rusted out tube ( common). So my question since t is a little bit of a pain in the keester being i am a little larger with some larger arms which makes it hard to get my hands and arms in to put the tube back on , can I leave the tube off unitl I get my new tube tomorrow from stealership. Also since I am replacing the tube should I go ahead and replace the valve itself?
Yeah, I forgot to include that in my previous post, it is a diesel thing. Again it means exhaust back pressure valve. I guess it monitors the exhaust back pressure. (obviously)
lil stinky doesnt kno what EBPV means! lol i actually dont kno if he knows what it is or not. Last time i talked to him, he was leaving to go to a movie.
I am here Yes you can run it temporary with the tube off. 2 Do not replace the valve if this pipe was the problem the replacing the valve is a wait of money
