injectors are in! this thing is an animal!!!!!!!
still running the edge 60hp program, way too much smoke and egt got too high too quick. now looking at what chip to get. still need to hook up my CAC.
no longer slugish from 1500 rpm to 2000 rpm, and my vibration at 40 to 50 mph is gone.
well I towed a light load 7,000 lb camp trailer, wit no tune in it just stock I lost about 20 mph climbing mountains, anything above 3 rd gear and I couldn't keep it under 1250 degrees. going to get my intercooler hooked up this weekend and see how much that cools it down.
I hate the thought of putting stage 1 injectors and the t500 pump in just to have to de tune it so I can tow with it.
would have toe cooler hooked up but waiting on Ford for the turbo clamp, I think I will just take it off of my E99 and let it sit for now.
transmission got up to 280 on this trip!
still no indication from the rear axle, need to check the wiring on that. I know the sensor is good as I switched it with the trans sensor.
You get the right tunes and IC hooked up and it will help a lot Bart. The stock turbo will be your biggest problem now. It just doesn't move enough air to cool it down.
I'm kinda curious to see what your trucks (figured I better clarify "truck" and not leave that word out, I know how some think on here..) rear end temp runs at.
home (central AZ) to Grand Junction Colorado towing 35" trailer trailer weighs 12,600 lbs. axle temp was 190.
coming home with a load of hay close to 30,000 lbs total axle temp went up to 230 on the long 7% grades.
transmission stayed above 280 most of the trip home, don't know how high as my gauge stops at 280.
