Decided to introduce myself
I am currently the owner of a 1964 Ford F100 short wheel base pickup. My grandfather purchased this truck used in 1966. I have started on the process of doing a complete restoration/modification to this vehicle. I am converting it to a mustang 2 independent front suspension. I also purchased a 1986 crown vic for the power plant which is a roller 302 with aod transmission; the plan is to keep as a fuel injected set up.

Nice project; yes it is great to see one of these classic treasures being past down thru the family. Nice project, great choice for a trans and engine combo, with the front suspension upgrade cruising will be a dream. Post progress if possible, looking forward to your input. Again, welcome!!

Hey, Welcome Blue!!! I'm in the process of swapping a '92 Mustang 5.0/AOD into my '66 shortbed. I'm also going EFI. I have a thread on here somewhere. Will be updating it soon! Good luck with your build and keep the pics comin'!
