found this site and might have posted it before but there is some good FORD tech stuff here.... transmissions, brakes, oil, heaters, spark plugs... lots of stuff
here's a site I stumbled on while looking for information on the '37 Buick I'm working on. It might not have a lot of information related to our trucks but there is a lot information. You have to just click around and play around with the links.
John,
I've stumbled upon that site before and have found it useful. Thankfully I talked my mother-in-law into getting rid of her Exploder so now I don't have to go through that torture anymore. I'm a pretty devoted Ford fan, but.......I HATE Exploders, can't stand them!
Nasty, horrible, blood sucking, backward engineered, obnoxious, POS, crap boxes.....ooops, sorry. Don't get me started......

Oh come on Bobby, Quit sugar coating it and tell us how you really feel about explorer's....hehehe
I always like how the engineers at the car companies spec out the razor sharp edges where you have to blindly shove your hands to get to a bolt. I think the have a union knife sharpener on the line. Same thing with household appliances.
If you think an Explorer is terrible to work on you are missing out on the other truly wonderful vehicles out there. Oh the stories I can tell... Let's put it this way I won't EVER own a Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, VW, Audi, BMW, Mercedes.

Uh oh, and I have an Explorer rear end in my F1! I have noticed that it leaks... I guess it will be ok as long as it doesn't explode.
LOL....we've kind of gone off topic a bit. My fault, I can't help it, its just that I've never met an Exploder that I liked. I have read several threads and tech articles on the link John posted, as he mentioned, there is good info there.
I know there are good ones and bad ones of any make and model....I just don't like Exploders.....just me...lol
Thanks for posting! I'm going to pass this on to my hubby who's working on a '91 'Sploder currently. (It's taking twice as long and costing 3x more than it was ever supposed to, surprise, surprise!) Maybe this will help shorten the process!
