Like will said..pull the fuel boul assy.I have done many without...believe me.pulling it will save you much time vs. fighting it..AND you will need a big HONKIN wrench for the banjo bolt as well

I replaced the fuel pump last May and I have a few tips. I bought a cheap wrench set from HF and bent the 1 1/4" with a torch to make it get easier to get the banjo bolt. I replaced all of the hoses with the blue ones. While I had everything apart I rebuilt the fuel bow. Another thing that I did was to use some thin thread to hold the washers while I fished the banjo bolt back in. The job is not hard but time consuming.
