1990 4.9 Stalling (with video)
I have an issue where when I start up my truck, it will initially will run for about 20 seconds or so. The first 5 seconds it sounds fine. Then it begins to sound like it is coughing. At about 10 seconds, there's a considerable amount of exhaust coming out of the back. At 15 seconds I can smell gas (it's thick) and at 20 it dies.
If I try to start it again immediately after, it will only last about 10 seconds. If I try it again, it'll last 5 or will be lucky to crank.
I had the fuel pump replaced a year ago and I pulled off the ignition control module and had it tested. They tried testing it like 4 times and couldn't even get it hot. They said it was really strange and I agreed. I figured that was the issue. I put the new one on there, and it started easier than usual, but then all of a sudden, problem is still there.
Here's a video if it helps:
