Not sure I want to open this can of worms, but Dana did make 60's for car applications I know for old dodge cars, however I'm not sure of the bolt pattern, I believe they were 5-lug. And I don't know about interchanging parts, the bearing and spindle diameters might be different or lengths might be different.

If these guys haven't talked you out of it yet, start searching on pirate4x4. I've seen all kinds of tons with weird bolt patterns over there, not sure how much it's going to cost you though.
Also don't see a problem with the adapters if you get them as thin as possible and keep all the bolts tight they shouldn't be a problem. Not the "right" way to do it, but certainly your cheapest option.

Dang thats hard to read....
No, front hubs will not work on the rear. Your wheel hubs also have nothing to do with spline count. These must be some pretty special wheels for you to even consider 35 or 40sp shafts as an option to run them.
Like Ive told you many times the EASIEST way to convert your 60 rear to 6 lug is to have your stud holes welded, machined flat and redrilled by a competent machine shop...not with a 4" grinder and 3/8" drill in your back yard. After that you can buy a 6 lug rotor, a 80s 2wd chebby caliper and a disk brake bracket from any 4wd supplier. All this considering the center of your wheels will fit over the wheel hub.
