Other than having a spare set of Chevy/Toyota rims, why would you want to go to 6 lug vs. the 8? You can buy 15x10 8 lug wheels, you just need to watch the back spacing and possibly need to to a little trimming on the 3/4 ton brake calipers. The rear disk conversion is fairly straight forward. Do a google search and you will find several companies that sell conversion kits in the 8 lug patterns. Doubt you will find any that convert to 6 lug on a D60 rear though.

You're going to have a ton of money and time converting them.
Probably the best method would be have a machine shop (not some back yard f-tard) weld up the wheel stud holes, machine flat and redrill/knurl. Then change over to chebby disks. All this is considering the rim center will fit over the hub which I think is unlikely.
You're going to have $1500 in this deal. How about a pic of these rims?

It's probably not very practical, but you can buy wheel spacers with a different lug number or pattern. They obviously would offset your wheels out of the fenderwells depending the thickness of the spacers, but with the right wheel offset you could tuck the tires back under the truck. But, if you are wanting to keep your 15" rims it may not clear your 3/4 ton brake calipers. Just a thought.

Just did a quick search on the interwebs and came up with this. I found it on E-bay. Do a search for "8 lug to 6 lug conversion". The brand is EZ Accessory out of California. Don't know anything about them or if they would be a good option or are safe, but here they are.

Yes it is that hard.
If you have ever disassembled a 60 you will see that the wheel hub will need to be changed or modified in order to change the bolt pattern. Then after doing that you will most likely find the hub opening of your rims to be too small to fit over the wheel hub.
Your idea to change bolt pattern rather than buy new rims is simply wrong. Some things just cannot feasibly be done on a budget of what new rims cost.
As mentioned earlier....can you please post a pic of these rims?
