i haven't backed it out more than 3 turns from bottomed out to be honest-i heard that it wasn't good to exceed this-any reason why? it's drawing plenty of vacuum 15in with a gauge hooked up. I'm going to check that spring if this modulator adjustment doesn't do anything

backed the modulator out 1.5 turns from bottomed out, still shifts early to second and just right into drive. If i slow down quick in drive it will abruptly downshift to 2nd ? Just wondering if lengthening the pin will give it better driveability-maybe more vacuum cause it won't have to be screwed in so far ?
