I have a 49 F1 body on a later model chassis. I believe it to be 78-79 F100, but not sure.
Here are some numbers I found on tags.
Front Axle D9TA-ACB, 610067-2
Rear Axle WDM-AE2 6EA 3.50 9 379A
Steering Box SPA CP 79C 27C

With this data, can anyone confirm what I have? The engine is marked 289

 

Look for the frame's VIN. It will be stamped on the top right frame rail. It can be anywhere between the radiator support and firewall but most commonly found about inline with the alternator.
This will nail it down to the exact year and model.
Judging from the D9T front axle tag, I'm going to say '79

 

Unfortunately, there has been some cutting and welding and no numbers in that location, but thanks for the info. It may come in handy later

 

There is also a second "hidden" VIN on the frame. It's also top right frame rail, under the cab. It's usually about 8-10" behind the front cab mount, but I've seen them further back.
