First of all is there any place online that I can ''decode'' the vin number off a truck like ours? And second I got some new hubs, and I am not really familiar with this but im going to try to change them tomorrow so is it possible to put them on backwards? Does it matter which one goes on the drivers/ passengers side?

But decoding the VIN will only reveal part of the story. Decode the entire warranty plate and you'll have more info. Take what it reveals with a grain of salt... with rigs as old as these there's bound to be some swapology. Trust but verify... one of your jobs is to be an investigator.
As far as the hubs, use RockAuto.com's online catalog to determine if the PNs are the same side for side.
Post the VIN, all the codes stamped on the Warranty Plate (located on the left door face below the latch). I can decode all of it.
4WD hubs are the same right/left, but there's more than just one type. F100's could have Warn manual, Warn Lock-O-Matic, or Dana/Spicer hubs.
F250 4WD's could have Warn manual, Warn Lock-O-Matic or Dana/Spicer hubs, as it depends on the weight capacity of the front driving axle, 3,000 or 3,500 lbs.
