steering column issues
My steering wheel was flopping around all over the place so I started to replace the upper steering bearings today. Got it apart and the upper steering shaft is worn pretty bad and also the tilt mechanism that houses the 2 bearings is in bad shape. Everything in there was toast. Apparantly it has been bad for some time. I think at this point getting a used steering column out of a junkyard would be a cheaper alternative. What steering columns will work on my 97 Expedition? Are F150's the same? Not sure what the junkyards around here have. Thanks for the help! I need to get this done so I can start on ball joints lol.
